Our wire/gear rigging and shipchandlery stores, situated at the quayside at Holmsgarth in Lerwick, supply a range of goods and services to the fishing, aquaculture and oil industries as well as local businesses and individuals. 

There is ample space on the quay for vessel crews to work with warps and nets.

We also have facilities and qualified staff available to manufacture and test most lifting equipment.

Net store

A net store is on site for the manufacture and repair of nets.

Stock

Our wide variety of stock ranges from wire rope, rope, twine, netting and chain to shackles, blocks buoys, connectors and anchors.

Fish boxes

We also have a facility at Holmsgarth for washing fish boxes, both those belonging to L.H.D as well as other companies.  A large stock of boxes is available for distribution to fishing boats at any time of day or night.
